The Aussie Fire Trivet™ by Slot Me In™ though small in stature is a mighty little compact cookware companion accessory suitable for a variety of uses when cooking with fire. As its name suggests it’s a trivet that is placed directly into a fire to support a variety of fireproof cookware resting on its top for use over “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™”.

Ideally suited for simple over the fire cooking when used in conjunction with a ground fire you can support camp ovens, skillets, fry pans, grills, hot plates, kettles, saucepans, billy’s and much more directly above the fire below. Simply building up the fire for increased heat or reducing the fire size below the set up trivet for lower temperature cooking is the means of temperature control.

The Aussie Fire Trivet™ is 100% Australian made using 6mm solid round 304 food grade stainless steel. With a hexagonal shaped top of 210mm in diameter it’s supported 130mm above the fire with 3 foldout legs in a tripod configuration. When not in use the 3 legs fold away underneath the top to allow for compact and convenient storage taking up next to no space at all, in fact you can stow it away in your camp oven or even in a skillet of similar or of larger size.

Set up it measures 210mm in diameter and stands 130mm high overall and weighs 525 grams (0.525kgs). Centrally located fireproof cookware much larger in diameter can easily be supported on it. Heavy items such as a large camp oven for example (450mm in diameter and over 20kg in weight)
